Well, it's flu time around here! Scotty and Jared were sick on Sunday with the stomach flu and fevers. I thought things were better but Jared got sick again yesterday! Crazy. Trust me, you don't want the details or pictures! :-)
I emptied our walk in pantry Tuesday and still don't have it completely put back together. However, I am feeling proud of all the purging and organzing I have done. We have way too much stuff! Ever seen Peter Walsh or read his book "It's All Too Much!" ? Love his organizational ideas and the way he explains how clutter can slow you down in every way. Great ideas. I wish I could hire him... but, I'm sure he only works for the rich and famous. Anyone up to a challenge??? I challenge you to throw away or give away a big black garbage bag full of your clutter! Let me know how you do. Nobody leaves me in love (comments) on here.

Hi Jenny! We totally went through the same weekend! Friday Summer got sick and threw up, then Saturday night it was Autumn's and my turn! SO not fun!! I lost 4 pounds in 2 days! Yuck!
And...we are totally on the same wave with cleaning/purging! Summer's room was a mess with leftover office stuff we hadn't gotten around to getting out of there. I took everything out and threw away a ton of stuff!
Her room is so nice now! Only a crib and a dresser! I'm going to take the toys from the bonus room and split them up between Autumn's and Summer's rooms. I want my bonus room back!
Tomorrow I am purging Autumn's room of all the junk so it feels good like Summer's does. You are going to be staying in a (almost!) clutter free house next week!! This is so refreshing to unload and lighten! I seriously feel so light and good when I go into Summer's room now! I need to get that feeling back into the rest of my house now!!
Oh my! Sorry for the loooooong comment!!
Hi Jenny,
Last month I had my first ever yardsale! It was so great to get all of this junk out of our house that we hadn't used forever. Who knew that 5 people could collect so much stuff! I found that getting organized is totally addicting so don't be surprised if you find the sudden urge to go from room to room organizing.
I made about $200 at the yard sale and I was really excited. I had planned to use it for landscaping the front of our house. Of course then our TV broke and we had to buy a new one and I fell on our front porch (which is concrete) and had to go to the ER and who knows how much that will cost us.
Oh well at least the house is less cluttered
I'm going to have to check out your book recommendation. I love a good de-junk. I just love to throw things away.
Hope the kids are feeling better.
